Our founder Martin O'Malley introduced portable CMM articulated arms to the local marketplace in July 1996, paving the way for inspection and reverse engineering revolution. Building the business, he firmly established the foundations of outstanding product, range, service and support upon which S&I has built its enviable reputation.

In December 2005, the founding directors of S&I Martin O'Malley and Gregg Franz sold their shares to new Adelaide based Managing Directors Adam Possingham and Uwe Zahradnik, launching the latest phase of S&I's enviable growth as a business. Today, S&I boasts over twice the portable CMM history of anyone else in the A-NZ region and the best of world wide products available in every field.
